The story of the Monte della Torre Farm began when, towards the end of the 16th century, the Marulli family moved to the Francolise Municipality area, in the Campania Region, although they did not start producing oil until the year 1610. The farm is located on the slopes of the ancient Roccamonfina volcano, near the ruins of a Roman villa that had its own oil mill, testimony to the ancient olive growing origins of the area.
The farm’s 22 hectares of volcanic soil are cultivated with organic farming methods. Olives, which are picked just as they start to ripen, are immediately processed, and oil is obtained through cold percolation. Once the oil has settled naturally in stainless steel tanks, it is bottled right on the farm.
Organic Farming extra virgin olive oil production was just recently started, and soon farmhouse holidays will also be available.

Organoleptic profile
The medium fruity is expressed by herby and almondy notes. Its pleasant and sweet taste has a light bitterness, closed by hints of almond and artichoke.
 
Recommended gastronomic uses
Its firm flavour makes it the ideal seasoning for soups of legumes and vegetables, braised meats. Excellent on pizza.
