The Clemente Oil Mill is a family run estate, which for four generations has been involved in selecting and producing extra virgin olive oil exclusively within the Gargano National Park. Since 1895 the Clemente family has been growing approximately 400 hectares of olive groves, located near the Paglicci Cave, a very important archaeological area.
Olives are stone milled, and the oil they produce is nitrogen-stored in steel tanks and bottled just a few days prior to its delivery.
The Clemente Oil Mill has a quality control department that tests and verifies each oil batch before it is bottled to ensure that it complies with specific quality standards. Their many products are in fact guaranteed by various certifications: ISO 9001:2000, BRC, USDA-NOP, PDO Dauno Gargano and Organic Farming.
