Samperi 

The Samperi farm is located in Leonforte, Sicily, on the slopes of a hill where, in ancient times, stood a temple to a pagan deity. In 1978, the farm was established on the properties that have belonged to the Trovati family for 400 years; in 1983, the modern, irrigated olive grove was planted next to the centuries old olive trees that already stood there.
The farm’s activities take place in an environment far away from savage urban development and industrial pollution, fully respectful of the environment and of local traditions, using just the right level of modern technologies.
Today, the farm is run by Giovanni and Svetlana Trovati, who have devoted their work to local varieties Moresca and Nocellara Etnea, traditional heritage.
