A.P.O.M., was established in 1978 and transformed into a farmers’ co-operative in 2005, and has, amongst its 13000 members, some of the largest olive growers in Sicily. Some of its goals are to adapt production, and supply to suit market
demans and even monitor a set of common production standards.
Oils bearing the A.P.O,M. brand are obtained exclusively from the produce of its members.
Thanks to the diversity of olive milled by the members and the varied locations of the farms, the sweetness of the Nasitana
variety, the delicate perfumes of Biancolilla, the body and character of Santagatese and Ogliarola Messinese and the fruitiness of Nocellara del Belice all blend harmoniously.Since 1994, A.P.O.M. has been marketing organically certified oil, which is sold worldwide thanks to its olive oil storage and bottling facilities.
