Carventum, the ancient name for Roccamassima, a small town in the Latina province, on the Lepini mountains, is also the name of a single variety oil produced by the Oscar farm, which is named after its founder. Grandfather Oscar’s descendants inherited a passion for olives and their products from him, and continued running the activity striving for the right balance between tradition and innovation, offering a range of oils and table olives.
The farm’s olive groves span 15 hectares, mostly of the Itrana variety, and to a lesser extent, Frantoio and Leccino. The owners welcome everybody who is interested in taking a closer look at the olive growing world, and arrange guided tours of the farm that show the olive processing equipment and operations. Visitors are also welcome to take part in delicious tastings.
