The Geraci family history is founded on the production of extra virgin olive oil. In 1935 Giuseppe Geraci purchased an olive grove: two hectares of land that allowed his son Francesco to start the business that has now been running for over three generations. The farm overlooks the Sibari plain, with its scenery of gently rolling hills fanning towards the Ionian Sea, filling the horizon with the sweeping green of olive groves, which are filled with the Dolce di Rossano variety.

Currently the farm has evolved with a new oil mill with a two-phase cold extraction processing system.

For the past few years, Olearia Geraci has obtained ISO 14001:2004 certification for environmental management, USDA-NOP and UNI 10939:2001 for production traceability.
