The Nunzi family has been devoting to the production of extra virgin olive oil since 1860. With passion, brilliance and sense of duty it has succeeded in giving prominence to the typical entrepreneurial Umbrian character. The person writing to you is Luca, who, by creating his own farm with a family experience acquired thanks to five generations of work and culture of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, has decided to leave the traditional standards of production and to aim for quality and the bond of the product with its area of origin. The farm stretches on the hills of Gualdo Cattaneo and Bevagna in the province of Perugia and characterizes itself above all for the production of extra virgin olive oil, result of a careful and precise work. The olives, rigorously hand-picked at the beginning of ripening in order to obtain an oil of excellent quality, are processed within the first twelve hours in the two family oil mills. Our extra virgin olive oil is presented to the final consumer also through special events organised at our farm, in a meeting room destined to tasting and convivial occasions, including the visit of the two oil mills. Especially in spring and summer the farm is crowded with tourists coming from all Europe. The people who visit our company “demand” and receive all the information about the various phases of the production process and like deepening their knowledge of the typical farm products of Umbria. The direct meeting between the city dwellers-consumers and the refined “industriousness”, which is at the basis of our extra virgin olive oil, are a priority of our company strategy, which aims at going beyond the “depersonalized” product on an ordinary shelf.
