In the green heart of Umbria from the hills of Gualdo Cattaneo, soil rich in ancient olive groves, the olive-press Nunzi chooses the better qualities of the olives Frantoio, Morajolo and Leccino to bring on your table the old genuiness of its extra-virgin olive oil D.O.P. The olives are meticulously selected and the picking, up to now still manual, takes place at the beginning of the season when the fruit is still unripe; in this way the oil preserves all its original and authentic fruity taste.˜ In order to boast the D.O.P. Colli Martani mark, the extra-virgin olive oil must get through a series of rigorous, sensorial (panel test), chemical and physical analysis provided for production regulations. The extra-virgin olive oil Nunzi is a healthy and genuine food, suitable for a real Mediterranean diet.

Taste of the oil: lively, pungent aftertaste, slightly bitter.
