Del Poggio
For five generations the Andreassi family has been producing extra virgin olive oil. Their oil mill is located in the Chieti province, between the Adriatic Sea and the Maiella mountains, in a hilly area in the green heart of the Abruzzi, where olive trees grow exuberantly. Currently, the Andreassi family produces only extra virgin olive oil, obtained by natural cold dripping, from Leccino, Gentile, Frantoio and Moraiolo selected olive varieties. Olives are hand picked, carefully washed and stone milled. Immediate bottling retains the oil’s qualities and freshness unaltered. The farm welcomes visitors both in summer as well as during production, thus allowing people to discover the oil mill’s secrets and taste the oil produced there.
