Olio Bacchi
The Fratelli Bacchi Company originated from the extensive experience of its partners in the oil business. In particular, they select the best Sicilian oils, which come both from their own olive groves and from a careful selection of their clients’ oil. The company’s olive groves extend for approximately 40 hectares in a sun-exposed hilly area that enhances the organoleptic characteristics of the oil. The property is in Partinico, between Palermo and Trapani. Each phase of the oil extraction is accomplished with care, using state of the art machinery which enables the producers to maintain unaltered organoleptic and nutritional characteristics. Special attention is given to environmental impact. Cerasuola varietal olives are prevalent in the province of Palermo, in particular in the Partinico area and the surrounding hill country. Ideal maturation of the olives is obtained in October. Processing is conducted in a recently renovated space owned by the partners, covering 1200 m2 that include the processing works and olive and oil storage facilities. The business is located in the city center of Partinico. The company plans to transfer the business to the suburbs of Partinico and build a manufacturing facility. The Fratelli Bacchi Company organizes tastings of their products and visits to the olive producing companies in the area.
