The olive grove has been planted about fifteen years ago in a land, used in the past for pasture, very rocky, which makes the quality of the product very high and the olive oil particularly light.
The cultivation of plants is done in the traditional way, with plowing and mechanical work, with frequent pruning plants.
During the summer, the plants are irrigated through a drip irrigation system.
The extra virgin olive oil "Masseria Guidone," whose name derives from that of the district where the production plant is located, is a blend of Frantoio and Leccino, it is produced in organic farming and cold worked within four hours from harvesting. The latter takes place through the use of a mechanical shaker that collects the olives in a cloth below, so that the olives are never in contact with the ground.
The olive oil is lightly fruity and it shows almond and herbaceous notes. Characterized by harmonic bitter and spicy sensations, it enhances the taste of all types of dishes of the Mediterranean diet.
